🏆 Top 20 (Elo)

09/18/2026 — Added a "Show/Hide Labels" toggle next to the rankings explainer link on the Elo and custom ranking tabs, and another next to Match History on player profiles — instantly show or hide the tags explaining why each player (or each individual game) is ranked/won the way it did (PPV wins, dominant wins, upset wins, old matches decayed, wins vs an NBA/G-League/Pro player, etc.).

09/16/2026 — Adjusted the official Elo formula: bigger win bonuses for beating NBA (40) and G-League (20) players, and opponent strength now has a much bigger effect on rating swings. PPV and dominance weighting are mostly unchanged. Historical snapshots were regenerated to reflect the new formula.

09/05/2026 — Added Upcoming Matchups — bet play money on announced 1v1 matchups, climb the leaderboard, and earn collectible trophies. No real-world value, just bragging rights.

09/02/2026 — Your saved custom rankings now show up as tabs on the Players page, right alongside the built-in rankings. You must be logged in to create a custom ranking algorithm.

09/01/2026 — Added new player labels: NBA, G-League, and Pro (overseas) — shown on a player's profile. This will affect the rankings! A player can hold all three labels. Beating one of these players gives a win bonus based on their highest tier: 25 points for NBA, 10 for G-League, 5 for overseas Pro. Being a pro does not give that player a higher ranking, they still have to earn their 1v1 credentials. Also added a "Request Player Info Update" form to player profiles so users can help keep player data accurate.

07/26/2026 — Added features for female players so bios can automatically use she/her pronouns.

06/14/2026 — Added the BEllis Top 20 — a curated ranking of the top 20 players picked by BEllis.
